Kaitlynn grew up on a farm in rural Virginia and moved to New York City for college. She graduated with a B.S. in applied physics and math from NYU in May 2017 and currently works at NYU as a research and teaching assistant. Her work is “focused†on optics, a subject she loves teaching others about. She hopes to continue with this work and is applying for graduate programs in physics.
